Flexible teaching space for up to 24 learners that features a mobile videoconferencing and presentation board, projection and white board walls.
500 square foot maker space equipped with 3D printers, scanners, electronics, prototyping equipment and cart and engineering benches for makers of all ages. Includes an adjacent storage and prep closet.
Premier concierge & welcome station to assist visitors in exploring ideas and solutions. Features community idea baristas during designated hours.
Social gathering headquarters at IN2 with a community kitchen & cafe bar seating. Includes self-service coffee and Peanut Butter & Jelly station; free to all IN2 members and guests.
Small Group Conference
A casual collaboration space to host groups, meetings and workshops for 8-12 people in the Maker Lounge area. The room has writeable walls, a wall monitor and a comfortable assortment of seating choices, including bean bag chairs.
Emerging Tech Conference
A tableless meeting space with writable walls that hosts groups, meetings and workshops for 8-12 people. The room has shades and HTC VIVE virtual reality as well a a wall monitor and ability host video and teleconferences. Emerging technology products from our IN2 partners and members featured and available for guest use and feedback.
Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR Room)
Temporary daily or hourly office space available for visiting entrepreneurs, mentors, teachers and community leaders to meet 1:1 and in small groups to mentor students and entrepreneurs during specified office hours.
IMSA Power Pitch
IMSA’s acclaimed 10th annual business idea competition attracts students grades 6-12 who pitch & defend original products and services to investors and business leaders.
Up to 10 Chicagoland tech-enabled or social entrepreneurship ventures co-work out of IN2 for 9 months with access to IN2 mentors and programs.
Special guests and workshops uncover the inner workings of startups and help participants develop entrepreneurial thinking and skills. Held Mondays during school year.
Girls IN2 STEM
A new mentoring program for middle and high school girls and women in STEM careers. Girls IN2 STEM facilitates career exploration through monthly workshops and online mentoring tools.
Assist IN2 in developing an educational program and speed mentoring event for students in grades 6-12 to inspire careers in cybersecurity.
A faced-paced, design thinking 2-day event where teams of high school students dive IN2 a real world problem selected with a community partner. Teams design and pitch solutions to a panel of subject matter experts.
Power UP! Energy Scrimmage
A design sprint for middle school students and their parents centered around a real-world energy problem where teams develop potential solutions and present them to a panel of subject matter experts.
TEEN STEM Cafe
A partnership between IN2@IMSA and Northern Illinois University, guided by a teen board from 6 area high schools, features 3 events in 2017-18 that combine food+STEM topics and activities appealing to Fox Valley teens.
Tellabs Next Generation Innovators Award
Presenting sponsorship for a new awards program that recognizes Illinois’ top middle school innovator students at an annual awards banquet, including media recognition and free IN2 membership.
